We are happy to wish you a warm “Welcome to the 40th Annual Mayors Cup Tournament” hosted by Utah Avalanche. The Mayor's Cup has long been a traditional way for teams to prep for their league seasons and end the summer over the last warm holiday weekend of the year.As ever, Utah at this time of year is a breath-taking place to visit with teammates, family, and friends- playing a little soccer into the bargain makes for a great few days. This year sees a Real Salt Lake match on the Saturday of the tournament, just one more reason to enjoy the weekend at the 40th Mayors Cup!

- Aug. 26 – Sept. 2 ~ Local Utah teams (Games played in evenings)

A Labor Day Tradition since 1984
The Utah Avalanche Mayor’s Cup soccer tournament has been a long-standing tradition for soccer teams over the Labor Day weekend. This weeklong tournament brings teams from all over the Intermountain area to compete. The longevity of this tournament has grown into a generational tradition with many players who competed as youth now bringing their own children’s teams to complete.

Soccer Fields
The Mayor’s Cup is played at a variety of 16 natural grass, sand-based fields (8 with lights) and is a destination for local, regional, and national tournaments, all just minutes from downtown SLC.
